Meet your hypnotist

Dan Willecke is the founder of Fine Tune Hypnosis, where he helps clients explore and resolve issues by working directly with the subconscious mind. With a calm, analytical, and practical approach, he combines structured methods with curiosity, intuition, and respect for each individual’s unique internal experience.

His interest in hypnosis was sparked when a high school psychology teacher conducted a classroom self-hypnosis exercise, where he later discovered that he had slipped into a very deep subconscious state. Later that evening he experimented with self-hypnosis to address a chronic health issue. The results were profound and lasting, sparking a lifelong curiosity about the deeper workings of the mind.

Over the years, while pursuing his passions as a musician and audio engineer, Dan continued studying the science of the subconscious. His exploration deepened when his future wife became a certified hypnotherapist. Together they spent years practicing and exploring hypnosis with friends and family, refining their understanding of how the subconscious mind can unlock insights and resolve problems.

After three decades of experience and focused study in hypnosis, he completed professional training with the Mike Mandel Hypnosis Academy in Toronto in 2025. Dan received certification in both Hypnosis and Mindscaping. His work is influenced primarily by the clinical legacy of Milton Erickson, the groundbreaking psychological framework of Igor Ledochowski, and Resource Therapy developed by Gordon Emmerson.

Dan views his role not as someone who “does hypnosis” to a client, but as a guide who helps people to access their natural problem-solving abilities. In a focused state similar to a vivid daydream, clients can explore patterns, access resources, and discover insights that the conscious mind alone often struggles to reach or understand. We all have these internal skills, but no one taught us how to use them. Bridging the conscious and subconscious mind is easy and profound when you have a good coach to guide you.
